This is a scene from the Taos Pueblo series I did in New Mexico. The yellow ladder was the inspiration. I also liked the green and yellow accents on the screen doors. I debated removing the large adobe oven in the foreground, but decided it added interest to the composition. If took it out, it would look like any other image of this scene.
