This scene is from a visit to the Taos Pueblo, in Taos, New Mexico. It is one of five scenes I did from the Pueblo. The inspiration for this painting is the shadows on the Adobe oven, called hornos. They are still used by the women for baking breads, pastries, wild game and vegetables.
