This painting is from the reflection pond at the Jewel Box, in Forest Park. The bright white flowers on the lime green lily pads really came to life. I also liked the unique textures and colors of the plant vines under the water. I spent a lot of attention creating and framing a balanced composition with all of the objects in this painting.
