I absolutely loved talking to this cow. He just stood there and chewed the green grass. I had a staring contest with him, and I blinked...He won! I also liked the other cow laying in the background. That cow could care less about anything. He/She just looked off into the distance, dreaming away. I just love these huge peaceful animals. This was at the end of summer and the trees were starting to change their colors, although the grass pasture was still a bright green. This scene is in Ste Genevieve county, where several small family farms and livestock are abundant.
