This pasture is in Jefferson County near my home in Festus, MO. This was from an early morning drive in the fall. I was out looking for scenes to paint and I came across this view of the cows in the pasture. The row of evergreens in the background had a purple hue. It was very serene and peaceful. The light was strong that morning as you can see it reflect on the plants in the foreground and around the cow.
